Dear All,

1. How can I apply for Al-Rahji Bank account? I have tried to apply for al-rahji bank account before but they said that i need some postal address to be under my iqama or where my home is. And if applying it will cost me SAR100 per year and i dont want it and it is useless nowadays. i apply here in al-wurud branch as this is very near to my office just walking.. I tried also to submit a postal address of my company and they do not accept it so i just dropped my application.. Please help me in this. because my salary is always delayed by a week or two by cash.

2. I have applied for bank account in SAMBA and no postal address needed and gave me a free credit card for use like a prepaid card. I didn't actually use this credit card because my company never deposited any amount on my account. My question is do i need to pay for their maintenance fees? i also cancelled this credit card before i went on vacation but no confirmation text came to my mobile. what should i do??? can these be an issue if i will go exit on my company??

Hi... I think you have too many questions for no reason. You open bank account anywhere there should not be a problem. You can try out NCB as well it will be much faster. Take the online banking service option and do all your transactions sitting at home.Credit card is an add on until you use it smartly there is no harm. Before exit yes you will have to close everything. If u have any issue on your home address or cancellation of the credit card just got to your home branch where u opened the account take to the representative and he will assist.

All my questions have a reason and you do not criticize if i have many reasons. if you do not want to answer so be it. And i am asking for al rahji bank only not other bank. Because al-rahji bank is required by company.

For your Al-Rajhi query...Get a letter from your company stating your identity, salary and company address and go give it to the bank..They will open the account in 5 mins...This is the usual procedure in KSA.

For your Samba query, I think for the 1st year your credit card will be free and chargeable from 2nd year irrespective of whether you use it or not..I guess you can keep the Samba account to use the Samba speed cash facility to send money back home...Before you go on a final exit, you'll have to clear all dues then only you'll be let go...cause everything is linked to your iqama number.

Take an introduction letter from your employer. Visit any branch of Alinma Bank. Show them the Iqama and introduction letter. And its done. Collect the ATM then and there....

that's the process with every other bank.

Al Rajhi is one bank where they open accounts without any sort of letters and in fact if there are complications with names etc they still go ahead and open the account for you. But surprised for OP he faced issues.
