This is what I know about getting a Family visit visas.
First you need to fill the the required information
https://visa.mofa.gov.sa/visaServices/MoquimServices

I prefer if you fill the information in Arabic.

then get it stamped and singed from your sponsor, attested and activated from CoC.
let you family member go to an agency in your home country or whatever they are coming from, and that's how it usually works. (if without an agency let them followup with the Saudi Consulate or Embassy)
