I'm curious, what type of propane tanks are available for grills and patio heater ? Are they the same type of 20lb tanks as in the U.S. and what is the process for getting them refilled? Im considering bringing our patio heater as part of our menaje de casa, but if the tanks are of a different dimension, I might have to purchase one there. Thanks for your input.

Should be no problem.
I have a couple of space heaters I bought here and the tanks appear to be the same as I had in a grill and motorhome a few years ago.

Some of the companies that come to fill the big tanks also have an adapter for the little tanks.

Otherwise you take your tanks to a "carburacion" station and they fill them for you.

Thanks, I was hoping to hear that.
