Hi,

im an aussie permanent resident and able to apply for the citizenship and i go a nice job offer in Jordan.

I will be in Amman for a short visit in the next 10 days.

i plan to stay in Jordan for around 2-3 years and only returning to Perth for a short visit.

How can i declare myself as a non-Australian-resident for tax purposes in order to not declare tax on income earned in Jordan ?

Just wanted someone to shed some light on the situation for me so I know what to expect. Or how you handle your taxes in Australia ?

im back from my visit and im going to move to amman beginning of February.

is anyone there who can give me some direction about the living in Amman ?

And i like to meet some other expats

i will be looking for an apartment in a nice, safe area close to a nice pub.
