I'm currently residing in Trondheim and there's a need for me to travel to Oslo once a week for the next few months, most likely by train since it's cheaper (i guess).

Does anyone know any fare discount for frequent train travellers? I checked EuroTrail and InterRail passes but they do not allow the use of pass in your country of residence.

Please advise.. Thanks!

Train may not be the cheaper way to travel. If you buy in advance Norwegian or even SAS tickets, they can be quite cheap aslo. There is no discount I know, you can buy a NSB card and get 20% rebates on tickets but it applies only on full fare:
