Booking separate one way flights

Post new topic

Lisetta

Hi there,

I am planning on going to Milan from Manila, and then San Francisco from Milan. I am an American and will be in Italy for a little over 2 months. Do you know if I will have issues with immigrations when I get to Milan, since I have 2 separate flights and arriving from a different destination than where I am headed? Or will my return ticket from Milan to San Francisco suffice?

You shouldn't have any problems.  Since you're not going to be in Italy for over 90 days you don't need a visa and your airline ticket should be valid proof that you do not plan to stay beyond the time that would require you to get a visa.  A useful site to check out too is:  travel.state.gov for other questions you may have.  Hope this helps.

Thanks Andy for your response. This helps a lot. I will check out the website you recommended.
