Rockers in Riyadh

I'm not sure if you're asking about people who play Rock/Metal or those who simply enjoy listening to it. Anyway, I wouldn't call myself a Metal head, but I certainly enjoy listening to Metallica, Godsmack, Lacuna Coil, Savatage, Nirvana, Scorpions and many others. I'm also into instrumental music. I like the works of musicians like John Petrucci & Andy Mckee. Actually I'm into most music genres except hip-hop & country, which I enjoy the least.

What about you Schulz?

U listen to Nine Inch Nails?  Used to be one of my sons favs.  Got some pretty interesting ones that I've gotten to like.

Im into thrash metal, from old school Sepultura, Slayer, Pantera to Static x, i also love listening to Tool now and some nu metal....
im still in jeddah bt moving to riyadh in 2-3 months :s

Hello Schulz, I am moving to Riyadh soon and I am an old punk. I've seen many bands such as The Fall, Jesus and Mary Chain, Sousxie and the Banshees, and DRI. That's just off the top of my head. I'd love to hear about Riyadh and what there is to do there. I'm not even sure if I can bring any clothes other than black. If you have any tips I'd love to hear them.

u can get as colorful a wardrobe as a clown but u ll have to get the black abaya on top (which u will get from stores here let me know if u need one)lol

What's wrong with the penguin look?  It leaves sooo much to the imagination.  Especially with the ninja masks.

cool thanks for the responses guys. Ive been pretty into punk, mostly 77 and 82 stuff. I have been into it for the past 10 years. I just cant seem to outgrow it. Sometimes I listen to metal but mainly only stuff like Motor Head and Iron Maiden.

@sarahrebekah I have been to DRI twice, but both times it was sold out and I just drank out on the sidewalk and tried to listen as best I could. I listen to a lot of the exploited, GBH, ect ect Some of the other older bands I like are peter and the test tube baby's, cock sparrer, vice squad, ect ect I listen to a lot of Oi also like the 4 skins, the oppressed, the last resort.

have you tried reem ring, sometimes they have punk music
