to submit visa application

I know there are many threads regarding visa, but here i am trying to ask something different.

i know generally company PRO submits the visa applications at ROP on behalf of the company.or if there is no PRO then the owner/ sponsor has to. as, only local citizens are allowed at the submission office (as i have heard).

now here my problem starts. our company is a small company and we don't have any PRO. generally the sponsor himself finishes the visa tasks. now for family visa he has signed and given all related documents to me as he had to go out of country and he might be returning back after year end. so i am stuck with signed and ready documents and don't know how or who can submit them.

so, guys if someone know a way or a person who can submit these documents please let me know.

Hi arharsh46,

Not an issue really.

Go to the Directorate General of Civil Status office in Seeb. try to submit the application forms yourself.

If the officers there say that you must process them through your company PRO, explain your situation.

It would be better for you to take along an Omani colleague as he can explain it better in Arabic.

Else, when you to there, you will find a lot of Omani PROs walking around with bunches of such similar papers in their hands. Request them to present it on your behalf and they will do so for some extra money.

As you may probably be aware, there are many small companies who hire these PROs on freelance basis. So it is nothing new for them and they will oblige. But first make sure you negotiate and finalise the cost for their service.
