Originally from Leeds England we used to holiday in Langkawi and fell in love with Malaysia. I then received an opportunity to work here and came to live here nearly 8 years ago to introduce ISO (QA Manager) which has been very challenging and rewarding in lots of ways. Am presently working as a ISO and Compliance Manager. I have travelled all around Asia with my job and experienced so many different cultures. How lucky to have the opportunity.
Been to weddings, funerals, puberty and circumcision party (Wow)
I lost my wife last year so life has completely changed.
Am meeting new acquaintances and new friends and life is very good.

I know Malaysia reasonably well as I spend about six months or so there - Great country, easy to see why you like it.

Sorry to hear about your wife.

Malaysia has its good and bad points. Over development in the klang valley is a big worry esepcially - pollution and haze was only partly due to burning forests. It got worse as local pollution shot up.

Easy living though for westerners compared to most asian countries.
