salary for expat

From which industry are you? I mean IT, Hospitality, Education etc..

The salary depends on several factors like experience, industry, skills etc ..

The salary offered looks very good and its right to negotiate.
Education is costly for non-malaysians here. Even primary education is costly.

You can live a decent life here.

Let me break-down the expenses for you

- Living in condo : 1500 to 3000 / month
- Food : 30 to 40 / day ( If going out every day ). 10 to 20 if cooking at home.
- Medical : Very costly. Your employer should offer you Family Medical otherwise say NO.
- Education : I am not sure about this but its will be costly.
- Car : You can apply for bank loan. 500 to 1000 / month installment

Now you can get an idea of the expenses you have to do.

Where your office is located?
You can get many options of living, from affordable to elite. Again it depends on you what you prefer.

accommodation & schooling will take 50% of  salary depending upon school & accommodation u r looking for
don't negotiate to much then company will look for cheaper options!!!!  i feel

The education in international will cost RM3000-4000. Car sedan type can get RM90k, depends what type of loan , Monthly have to pay RM900 around.
