Family Visa: Exiting and Re-entering?

Hi all!

I've got a Family Visa valid for one month, which I want to extend for 5 more months.

While I'm on said Visa, may I travel out of Qatar and re-enter (as in: short vacations)?

Or do i lose the Visa If I go out?

You will lose the visa... you can only go out and re-enter when the Family Visa is transferred into a residency...
