Purchasing organic non-GMO seeds

Hi All,

I visited Accra a few months back and stayed there a month. I have now decided to relocate there for a few years. I will have my own small garden and would like to know am I able to purchase organic non-GMO seeds. If not, how am I able to transport seeds from the US to Ghana? I just recently switched to a completely raw vegan diet so this is very important to me.

Wouldn't it depend on what you wanted to grow? There are people who grow organic food here so you could contact them. As far as I know there are no GM crops in Ghana yet so you can get seeds from various sources - I got some from the university - or you can bring some with you as I don't think there are restrictions.

Thanks for the reply. This is good to know. I am simply looking to grow mostly vegetables like cucumber, collard greens, tomatoes, and carrots.

Then you should be able to get those seeds here.
