Try more websites focused locally like:
Airbnb
dubailuxurystay
You might find some amazing options other than hotels here in dubai; like living in a villa at Palm jumeirah or a flat in Burj Khalifa. I have booked my stay for my parents and friends and each time had a much better experience than staying at a regular hotel.

I use Agoda.com here, and I'm very pleased with them.
