Best cities to live in Bangladesh

Recently left Bangladesh after 4 years which included extensive travel.  Despite all its bad press I'd say Dhaka wins hands down!!  You are talking about expats - not locals with family ties and so on.  We lived 70% in the country and 30% in an apartment in Gulshan 2.
Yes we visited other places but although the climate may be better and so on - they simply lack facilities.  Very basic facilities.  So does Dhaka but it has many advantages:  easy access to schools, medical, most grocery items and a growing number of decent cafes and restaurants.  Clothes shopping is wonderful for the guys at outlet shops.  Sorry girls - you still need your passport to get anything at all worthwhile.
Best suburbs, as distinct from cities, to live are grouped around the Gulshan and Baridhara districts.
Traffic is horrendous so close proximity to work and schools is an important consideration.
