Writing a book about Lombok

Post new topic

Hello All!

I am preparing to write a book about Lombok, along the lines I have already done for Jakarta and Bali.  The theme is places to see and things to do, as well as the 'back story' of history and culture. I have been to Lombok five times, so I am familiar with the terrain, and of course am researching before returning in April. I would really appreciate any input you could give me, and in particular some good photographs that I could include in the book (by way of example I have contributions from 46 photographers in the book on Bali.

Thanks
Carl

I might have some photos of the place - I'll check out my hard drive and see what's there.
No promises as I can't remember what I took out there.
Good luck with the book - anything that brings tourism to Indonesia is a good thing.

Hi Carl,

If you haven’t already done so, you might consider contacting Gemma and her husband Made who own and operate Mimpi Manis homestay.  Gemma also operates the Lombok Lovers Forum.

An English expat, Gemma and her Balinese husband have been 24/7 on Lombok for over ten years.  I don’t know anyone who knows Lombok better than her.
