Winter fashion when clubbing

Hi. I will be in Slovakia this Dec to visit my boyfriend. Just want to know what women wear when clubbing? Are high heeled sandals ok too if I just have to go from the car then straight into the building?

My question may sound silly but winter here in Australia is really mild and can get away with wearing a dress with high heeled sandals most of the time.

Help is much appreciated as my partner is clueless!!
