Hello Everyone

I would like ask your suggestion  to buy Printer in Vietnam.

My purposes is use at home  like print  less then 10 pages per day

I would  like to buy 3 in 1  like a Printer + Scan + Photo copy

What are the advantage   i should consider before  i buying?

Is there any good Places  in Saigon  except  Nguyen kim ?

Which brand name is useful to buy?  I have a checked  already  in Nguyen Kim  but it's seen  too complicated  there after sale service. i would  like to know any other  place  which i can  have  good service  after sale.

Apprenticed your suggestion.

Best Regards

Collwing

3 in 1 jobs are the work of the devil, clearly designed to create anger that will be punished by eternal damnation in the fires of hell, especially HP units.
The idea is fantastic, but I hate them with a passion.

I smashed my last soul destroying combo unit up with a large hammer, realising the forever fires would consume me if I didn't destroy this manifestation of Hades.

I replaced that toilet worthy lump of poop with a canon lide 120 scanner and a canon ip2770 printer with an external ink well.

The scanner works perfectly, and the ink lasts ages, and costs almost nothing to run.
Unlike the HP, it doesn't throw up a million error messages if you don't use the manufacturer's very expensive ink, and it doesn't refuse to work because you won't be held hostage to their greed.

I see it this way, when you buy a printer, it becomes yours to do with as you please.
HP disagree, believing you should be locked in to being ripped off by forcing you to buy their products, and rigging the printer to lock up if you dare to want to buy as you like.

Basically - Don't buy HP unless you're a masochist who loves headaches and high blood pressure.

I agree with Fred above. All in one systems are a great idea, but they may also be a source of problems and frustration. I'll leave just one bit of advice: Remember that the cheaper the system the more expensive the inks will be and the more often you will have to change the ink cartridges.

Hello

Thank you guys.

I have one more question   i were checked  Cannon, HP, Brother and Ricoh

But it's seen Hp, Cannon  and Brother not heavy  then 6KG,  But Ricoh  is 30 KG

Is there any advantage  about this?

Bazza139

An emphatic NO!!!

..why?

1.  Advanced technology.

2.  Canon is regarded as the best on the block:  their popularity speaks for itself.

3?   ..not to mention that same good name means Canon do (much) better with easy-to-obtain spares, their reliability, and although after-sales service is largely contingent on the seller, you will find them on the internet too...   But who knows?   Ricoh might well be just what you need.   Read the reviews...

Caveat Emptor: let the buyer beware...    .

Quality against price ..... but need comes first.

There is zero point in buying a sports car to drive a mile down to the supermarket to pick up a bit of shopping.

Most people only use printers for a few documents, so any half reasonable unit does the job. My Canon works a treat, was cheap to buy and the external ink means it costs very little to run.
If you're photo printing, the goalposts move.

Thank you guys  Finally i decided  to go for the Canon.

Fred

Make sure you get one that accepts the external ink, it'll save you a fortune.

Hi Coll-wing,

If you have not bought the printer, I can help you. One of my friends is working for Ly Bao Minh - the sole distributor for Canon's products in Vietnam. He can help you to choose an appropriate one.

Hello Ngoisaomayman

Buy 1 at home & bring it over. I bought an epsom in OZ when I went back I stocked up on after market ink cartridges that did not work. I will bring back a brother with heaps of generic cartridges that do work. I could not get cartridges for the Epsom any where in Vietnam. Any tech stuff like that buy it in your own country or Thailand. Some things are impossible to get if you buy them on ebay the packages have been ratted to determine how much tax you have to pay & can take ages to arrive & again almost impossible to track down in the post.

Hi.
Nguyen kim is not the place to buy computer things.go to phong vu on cach mang thang street.look for epson printer such as the L210 with separated ink tank, scan, copy.regards

Suggest you buy a Canon printer as these are made in Vietnam & relatively easy to repair & service
Bought an HP two years ago, problem developed after 13 months & no repair service available in Viet nam!
Annoyed as like HP not that fond of Canon!
