Hello everyone,

I am a Canadian librarian and writer who has lived in Europe, the Bahamas, the Middle East and Colombia. Most recently, I worked in Germany but was in Kuwait before that.

I am interested in hearing from single expat women living in the Gulf region who have had (or know someone who has) relationships, affairs, flings, marriages, escapades, horror stories, funny encounters... with Arab men from the Gulf or otherwise. I am also interested in your views on how you think Arab men compare to Western men and how Arabs of different nationalities compare to each other with regard to their approach to women, dating, sex, relationships etc.

If you would like to share your stories and insights with me for an article for research I am doing I would love to hear them. You could remain anonymous, or not. That would be entirely up to you.

Wow! I'm shocked. I'm doing research for an article for a national consumer magazine. I am not looking for anything offensive or derogatory in any way, just interesting stories that regular Canadian women would be interested in reading.
