Dear friends, I need your help!

I would appreciate very much if someone can acknowledge me about one thing...
I have worked in Qatar from sept.until november 2015 (3 months) into a company.
I've decided to leave after my probation period in which after a meeting with the GM we have agreed that it is better to terminate me and to leave the country in 7 days as per my visa from passport.
I didn't get the NOC or some other paper, I just returned my ID, I did my clearance and I have waited my flight ticket.
I was for the fingerprints and eyes scan after I have joined the company but in my passport I have just a white sticker with a bar code, nothing more.
I related my story to understand better my time there and to let me know if I can go back and work again in Qatar immediately or I need to wait 6 months or 2 years as I have heard from different people.
I don't know what I should do more because I want to apply again for another opportunity but I am afraid that my woking visa will be rejected because of my ex-company and the time that I have spend there.

Please, if someone have informations about how long I need to wait in my case until someone can apply fo me again I will be more than regardfull.

Regards,
Cklaudia

Just  go to the Immigration department and ask the type of cancelation  your old company placed on your current Visa.

Dear Cklaudia

You mention in your massage that you finish the finger print and Eye scan, but you did not mention if you got Qatar ID, as the new system for resident permit will not be as before sticker on the passport, it will be only through issue Qatar ID, so if you receive the QID it mean that you already have issue resident permit and when you finish from your old company the cancel your RP, if this happened you need to be out of Qatar for 2 years unless the old company give to your new employer NOC to returned back on their sponsorship.
If you don't got QID, it mean you did not complete the process of your resident permit and your service was terminated during the first 3 months (your first entry visa) allow you to stay in Qatar for 3 months to process your RP, if RP was not completed and you left Qatar before finish the RP process then you can come back any time as you did not got resident permit on the sponsorship of your old company, you just have entry visa to Qatar.

Wish you the best

Dear Crown,

I would like to thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate.
I have received my ID but it was not mentioned my position. Even now I don't understand why they have released me an ID with the mention "employee" on it.

I am trying to find a way to come back because if I need the NOC the company will never release me one as per the company policy (the HR Director told me this after a call).
I heard that some companies can apply for business visa for some employees but I don't think that I will find one.

I've heard as well that in October the Qatar law might change and remove the NOC and I might have the opportunity to be hired without any such requirements.

Do you know by any chance a way through I can be accepted or I don't need the NOC for a future position?
Please, let me know, I will highly appreciate if you can provide me any informations regarding this matter. I like Qatar very much and the places and people are amazing. I am looking to settle down with my future and private life there and that's why I am trying my best to come back.

I wish you all the best.

Regards,
Cklaudia

Dear Cludia

The new regulation for sponsorship in Qatar implemented in Oct. 2015 and it will enter in active after one year from that date, as long as you got ID it mean that they already process your resident permit, as long as it is cancelled you can't enter to Qatar before finish 2 years outside Qatar, but still we don't know what will be the situation with the new sponsorship regulation.
For business visa the validity will be for 2 week and can be extended for further 2 weeks, it is not good to come for one month and go back, wait till Oct. and be in touch with me again on my Skype and will try to find out for you if you can come before finish 2 years or no, my   S K Y P E   ID is: crown7051

Hope to see you when you are in Qatar.

Well , if your old company did cancel your visa , I don't think you'll find any issues .

Better to contact your company .

Regarding coming on business visas , it all depends on the new company .
If they're willing to issue you a business visit visa and convert it later that's better I guess .

If things get difficult to enter Qatar , I would suggest you Bahrain as I always would :)

Good Luck C !

At the end of this year there will no longer be two year bans and no required exit permits to take leave etc.

:) thank you. I am looking after an opportunity to Bahrain already. Maybe I will see you soon there. Take care of you.

Thank you Martin:) I've heard the same thing. Hopefully from October forward everything will be ok and no more NOC's or such papers who makes the life so difficult.
