Dear all,

Before soon go to India, I like to know if some of you know this area?
And what are the points concerning customs and traditions that must be taken to avoid having the disrespectful tourist label...

Dahej is an Industrial town in Gujarat state of India. I have worked there in oil & gas construction & line pipe fabrication inspection.
Public is friendly, but no fun, & boring. You will need a permit to drink. It is a dry state (means no Alcohol). Enjoy your stay. if you need any assistance contact me at ***

You will be better of if staying in Bharuch or Baroda. Dahej is just a indl. town and nothing more.
