Hi,

I'm looking out for IT related jobs in Nairobi.

I'm a resident, having dependent pass. I have 9 years of experience in IT industry, having worked with companies like EMC Corporation and Oracle in the past.

Can anybody atleast guide me the right way to search  job in Nairobi? Because I have been waiting for some challenging opportunities and I'm not even getting any interview calls.

Thanks,
Vinutha

Post your CV in the jobs section, top of this page.
Also a Google search may help.

Hello, to the best of my knowledge, you cannot legally work on a Dependents Pass.  This pass is issued to spouses who are dependent upon their partner, for support.

You will have to obtain a work permit. This is applied for on your behalf, by your prospective employer once you have had an offer of work. The application process can take several months.

Wherever you network and advertise, you will, unfortunately still need a work permit to work legally.
