Accomodations

Hi!  Brand new to this site today.  I am a retired RN, looking for accommodations and discovering new places to see, will be in San Jose the 24th of July for 10 days, hoping to fly to Ecuador for about the same amount of time, for comparison.  I tend to be cold blooded, so I want to be where it is warm, SAFE, not a huge town, would truly like some advice.  All responses are welcome!!  Thanks in advance.

Hi Priscilla!  I am looking for a room for 10 days-3 weeks, in a safe area, not too very expensive.  I am to arrive July 28th late evening.  It would be lovely to meet some ex-pats who have been living there for a while.  I will be flying in to San Jose.  Thank you for you response.
