You never know what they will block in the next week.

Sometimes the authorities in the airport will go through your bags kinda thoroughly, sometimes not. So dont try and risk stuffing something that u are not supposed to anywhere.
If u are coming to riyadh, it can get chilly at the moment.

yeah this is so true...u never know

I've read on a list provided by our movers that stuffed animals are not allowed, and the movers' agent recommended we carry those in our luggage as airport customs may be somewhat more lenient.  Anyone with kids had previous experience with stuffed animals or Barbies being thrown out?

I had 2 trunks filled with stuffed animals for my daughter when we moved here 3 months ago, so better check wtih your movers about this - I had no problems whatsoever.

Thanks BB!  I will do that, since I know for sure my kids will demand all their stuffed animals taken...and that's way more than what our luggage allowance will be
