Hi all,

If you had to look back on your expat experience in Luxembourg, would you heartily say "lets do it again"?

From the preparation stage to your actual everyday life in your new country, what did you enjoy the most?

Would you do certain things differently? Could you tell us why?

How would you describe the benefits of your expatriation in Luxembourg so far?

Well, I certainly wouldn't, not in the same circumstance anyhow

I found it to be overpriced and actually feeling poor - ask for a bath in a flat and they look at you like you've asked for marble and gold floor to ceiling!

While not ill intentioned, locals can be very arrogant but lacking in culture - good luck with theatre, art expo or just chatting to someone about anything cosmopolitan.

The weather was s*** too - so all in all, no, not unless the job was a fabulous one (and this one wasn't - it was working with Thionville boys - a place of rare ugliness and lack of talent for a mostly beautiful France)
