Good evening,
I am a South African citizen but I was born in Namibia. Our family would like to relocate to Namibia and so I am applying for Namibian citizenship by birth.
However, I would like to retain my South African citizenship. Is dual citizenship allowed in Namibia? I am getting confusing messages. I understand that a High Court ruling was passed in 2011 regarding the matter but I am not sure what the implications of the ruling are.
I would really appreciate some advice!
