Prescriptions

Redscorpio

I take a medication every day in the uk and I am worried about the cost of it in Qatar.
I am aware of the card system but I dont think my medical insurance through my employers would cover my medication as I guess it is classed as a pre-existing condition?
Just worried incase the pills will cost a lot per month which defeats the point of coming out to Qatar.
Thanks!!

You can bring your medicines with official prescription from your UK doctor. However the drug should not be narcotic or sedative.Bring original prescription with sign and stamp of your doctor.

Also do not bring very large quantity. You can bring about 6 month's stock

I read you can only bring three months supply.
Does anyone else know about cost of medicine from pharmacies please refer to my original post. Thanks.
