Welcome to both Bahrain AND forum 
I think the easiest way would be to check with the Brittih Club, the Country club or directly with hotels. Mot of them are throwing partie for New Year and you can definitely find omething whatever your budget would be.
Try alo the webite "Click Bahrain" or the magazines uch a "Bahrain thi month", "Bahrain confidential" or "Oh la la" you'll find a lot of intel about what' going on in BH !
