That's Regatta Roundabout, aka The Roundabout of Death on Thursday morning. I was coming in on the Tunisia road from Janzour and from the Janzour flyover to Regatta 'boating lake' took 2 hrs.

That's a pain. You should have taken the other route i.e. turned left before the janzour bridge.

You'd still need to get across the junction.

If you wanted to get on the highway, i believe the sub road after the Moaqein hospital was fine.

I didn't. I was going to my office, which after 2.5yrs I know how to get to by every back & side road. But if people would like to tell me about all the roads which weren't flooded last week, in the remotest off chance I could piece them together into a possible future route, then fill your boots, I'm all ears.

Well it seemed you really needed it anyhow now that you know an alternative road hope that you will not get stuck for that long again.
