There is an medical insurance group called Assimed here in Paraguay that has one of the more upscale medical insurance plans available. They have two large modern hospitals in Asuncion, La Costa and San Roque. You can google Assimed Paraguay and get their website. They have dental and orthodontics departments at the hospitals. As any private hospitals here you don't have to have an insurance plan with them to use their facilities, you can "pay as you go". And with the low costs here for medical care that may not be a bad idea if your younger or in good health.
