What do you miss?

Post new topic

kiwiinkorea

I am from New Zealand, I miss:
Steinlager Beer
Vegemite
A temperate climate
Decent coffee (instant or espresso)
A damn good burger
Good cheese
A library, not the internet

If I went into it in depth, there would be many which would raise the question, why don't I just go home but my life here in Korea is good even without those things.

I miss the British winters - Bonus

I miss the best Indian food in the world - no - I really miss the best Indian food in the world.

I miss the Pennines in Allah's own Yorkshire.

What I really miss is being able to hold a conversation (in my Barnsley accent) and being able to use all the quirks of the English language without having to think about my interlocutor's ability to understand.

There are so few people here with that sort of ability in English.
