I have some books and clothes and a few small appliance I wish
to ship here in one time from Chicago Il. I live in San Jose, Costa Rica
Can someone please advise the most economical options to get them here. I plan to be in the US in the Springtime and at that time can get everything in one location for pick up.

I'm confused - are you shipping from or to Costa Rica?
...Either way, a private company is probably your best bet. If you are shipping TO Costa Rica and your package gets held in customs, after 5 days they have the right to take your stuff.
