Is it still normal or was it ever normal? How do the schools like in Libya now? Are they changing or still dealing with the same problems that are almost everywhere in Arab world, poor teaching methods, violence, everything has to memorized, country is far more important than knowlegde (but this actually often happen in "regular" jumhuriyas)...

Personally  I overcame a lot of negative opinions and aggressive comments about my lovely country (Libya), and I am very proud to say that I belong here and that I have a Libyan nationality... the same happened to me , lived abroad for 80% percent of my life , most in European countries.. faced a lot of bad and good situations/people, but never remarked any bad comment about the counties I have been to...
My wish for the coming year is that most of our expat friends will adopt a more positive view of the country they are currently living in... especially that a lot of Libyans are reading their comments.. and they will act based on what they read ..

In every place there are Good and Bad people... In every country there are positive and negative points ...

Nice comments, positive observations, shops, malls, sea-quays full of everykind of product you like. Roads without zahma, people obeying rules. Even offers will be prepared according to specifications.

All Libyans and non-Libyans united for a better future. As always and forever.

And as all countries have their negative points, in new year I will post not so positive observations about Libya on Polish forum. It should be quite obvious since I am Polish.

I want to thank you for letting us know your very nice and ambitious  plans for the coming year and it will be treated the same way on the Libyan forums.. we love polish people who are NOT positive towards the country they are working and living in and getting paid for such nice remarks towards it.... I sure do admire your attitude because I am the same way, except I have not been as much since I've been in Libya.  But the things you say like there's good and bad everywhere and you have to just make the best out of whatever situation and then we move on to other experiences is how I normally think.

Thank you for helping me get my attitude and thoughts back on a better track.

And you didn't even let them get to you -- even more admirable.

I agree with you SweetLibya and Sea Angel, Life is just a trip full of experience, we either experience it with love, happiness, or just move on the way it is.

Since I came here 5 years ago, and I have experienced such beautiful things about Libyans, most people deny, I just deal with people positively and with a smile, then what I get is a positive attitude and good well
