Hello everyone,

The Olympic Games are now just a few days away and we would like to talk about sports.

What sports are the most popular and/or unusual in Panama?

Are sports facilities easily accessible there? Where and how can one find sports clubs in the region?

Are there sports events regularly held in the country?

And you? What is your favourite sport? Which one(s) do you practice in Panama?

There is baseball and soccer, rodeos... I don't follow sports much so I'm sure others know more. They are revamping the big ball field in David so it will hold more people and there are quite a few other ball fields around town. I've seen a number of bicycle races, and some are international events. Many people are interested in staying fit and healthy. There are some gyms around town and I see people out jogging and walking. Me? I ride my bike a lot.
