Hi Liliana,
The cost of living in Singapore compared to other places in Asia is very high. Being the shopping hub people pursue a lavish and extravagant lifestyle. A satisfactory meal at a food court will cost you S$3 on an average. It’s preferred for expats to have a home cooked meal; the grocery shopping at a supermarket is quite economical. Considering all the factors mentioned above a moderate dining experience in Singapore would cost you around S$300. With the increasing number of expats the rental cost has a substantial increase. The rent for a 1000 sq ft HDB is around S$3000, with all the amenities and facilities.  Since you are planning to move to Singapore you would be inquest of a property for sale/rent, you can search on Singapore property portals which would help you find hdb for rent, condos for sale, condos for rent, assist you with property rates and provide you appropriate guidance regarding your property search.
