Hello,

I'm a French expatriate, because when you come from the south west as I do, moving to Paris seems like expatriating ;)

Anyway, I can speak English (not always fluent, but I can manage), of course French and so little russian it would be a shame to pretend I do.

I made my new year decision, subscribe here, because I'm fascinated by Canada, specifically Québec (I've been there for a too short week already), I love the accent, and the people there, well, part of them anyway...

If there is any chance for some of you to introduce me in some kind of canadian circle where I could share my France knowledge in exchange of your Canadian one, having some drinks in nice places, talking about books, movies, Regenesis or Rock Voisine, that would perfectly fit !

Julien

Welcome on board PamR :)

The Canadian in Paris network may help ;)

Hi,

I'm not Canadian - but I too am fascinated by Québec. After Paris - hoping to take a few weeks to explore Canada. As Canada would be my ultimate dream country to live in.

My reason of coming to Paris is to learn French - so that I can transfer my language skills in Canada.

Hope you get loads of response - and when you do; I can get info too.

Bye

Hi ljeo and PamR,

I'm from central Canada and just so flattered that so many people are fascinated by my country (although most French people associate Canada with Québec only...:) I now live in Toulouse and find it difficult to meet Canadians. Perhaps most of them live in Paris. But I've met some wonderful American and British people here! Good luck with your adventures!
