There are actually a lot of Compounds in Riyadh.  You can check out the Guide section of this blog for some contact information.  From what I am hearing you can get a one-bed for anything from 40,000 to 90,000 - there is no way to avoid the legwork involved in getting appointments with the Compounds to obtain information.
Each Compound will have their own tariffs and you will need to check each of them individually.  Actually, this has made me think of doing a research exercise on Compounds and prices - I will do a separate post on this just now. 

Eid Compound:
single bed studio is 85,000 SR per annum
single bed apartment is 95,000 per annum
one bed semi-deluxe is 135,000 per annum
one bewd deluxe is 150,000 per annum

It may also be worth checking out some of out Expat Classified groups, there is a classified section on this blog, also one on Facebook.  You can post on there what you are seeking and see what responses you get as well as what is on there already (i.e. there may be a one bedroom place to rent being advertised.
