I know there was a post awhile ago about the Optometrist in the Al Fattah Tower, but for the life of me I can't find it! Does anyone remember it? Did you post on it and have the link?
I'm looking for their number, so I can call and make and appointment.
Thanks!

Save yourself the headache and go down to see them to make the appointment. You can get some DVDs and have a pizza from the cafe on the 1st flr to make the trip worthwhile :)

As you go in the main door (Ocean entrance), the place is immediately on the left.

Okay, thanks for the heads up!
I'll do that.

In case anyone it's helpful to anyone, they have crazy hours.
They are open 10-2 and 5-8. At least, that's what the sign said. I was there at 1:50, and they were closed already.
I guess I'll try again tomorrow!
It did look like they had a great selection of frames.
Thanks again for the help!

Libyan stores call this chapter on Customer Service Take It Or Leave It  :D

If it were up to me I wouldn't let most these people interact with the public.

K, I've got two questions..

1.  Are they any good?
2.  Do they do contact lenses, or just glasses?

Anyone know?

They sell both....and have one of the fancy computerized machines to do the test

Any good? I had a lost screw in my frames replaced...at no charge. Guess that's your benchmark

On Gargeresh, coming from East towards West, the first two optometrists on the left hand side -before Timberland, bakery etc shopping area- are really good too. The first dude is very eager to please and the second one is a wise professional gentleman. They both have good technology and I do like the second guy even better.
The service at the Al-Fatah Tower shop is preposterous; I felt like my presence was a distraction for the young lady who was very busy texting to someone on her precious hand-gadget (more like "get out of this store already and stop interrupting my social life" kind'a attitude than a "take-it or leave-it" attitude!) I don't know about the actual optometrist there, though.
