Upcoming trip to San Miguel de Allende. Info about dentists + optician

Post new topic

We are 2 senior women coming to San Miguel for the month of November to see if we would like to move there permanently. Are there any places to connect with other Americans? Does anyone know of a good dentist for tooth implant? One that uses general anesthesia? Also a good place to get glasses? Any tips for our stay would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Carole

Hi Carole,  I am also coming to San Miguel in Oct and meeting another woman from UK.  I intend moving there and I think she will too.  We checked out Lake Chapala but found it was too sleepy for us. It is a really beautiful place and the Ex Pats there are super friendly. It's a bit different finding people like that in San Miguel. I intend setting up re-location tours for people like you, so that it will be easier to find out all the info you need. I took a tour like that in Lake Chapala & it was really helpful.
I hope you have a great trip, and if there's anything you would like to know about Lake Chapala, let me know.  I'm still in the research stages for San Miguel!
Good Luck!

Thank you for your reply. It would be nice meeting you if you are there the same time as we are. Nov. 5-Dec. 9. We are staying in an airbnb home in San Miguel. Feel free to call us if you are there at that time.***

Look forward to meeting you. Carole
