2 Questions.....football and poker!

Good evening all,

I am living in Cairo as a student at AUC and I have two questions I need help with.

First - does anyone know where you can buy a poker set? I have heard rumors that you can find them in the Sook in Rehab City (checked and no luck), and someone told me there's a store in Korba (checked and again no luck).... I know there has to be a place somewhere - I am seriously having Texas Hold'em withdraws!

Second - can anyone point me to a website that has good events going on in Cairo. Specifically I would love to attend some of the football matches in Cairo either with the National team or with the big club teams - but I have combed through websites and can't seem to find anything that just gives me dates and locations, etc for sporting matches in Cairo.

Any help with these would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

I don't know about Poker,but regarding football..I will let you know when there is some competitive match and will pass you the details...one extra thing that u may like to do,are you interested to play football?I play with friends frequently,If so let me know..by the way I'm studying at the GUC...

I know that I saw poket set in a shop in Downtown close to Groppi garden on the same side of the street.
it was a place where you can buy gifts...

So, here is the perfect answer for your 2 questions:

1- Poker Set, you will find some different sets at Cocolina gift shop in mohandeseen

2- Football, I assume you mean Soccer. if that's right then I am glad my friend to tell you that's impossible I am not a football fan!!

but the only way is to know when and what matches will be played and where as well and go buy the tickets your self, that's to get it for the fair price. and you can always get it from the black market at the comfort of your own house but pay more!!

okay, i wish to attend any big match too. friendly? it's ok, well considered. i remembered, argentina was here on 2years back. I was about to go but then it end up with I can't go bcoz have another business to do with
