Bringing meat-based sauces

Hello Folks,

We are moving to Muscat, Oman soon. I'll like to check if it is possible to bring along some meat-based sauces (e.g. bolognaise sauce) and other non-meat sauces when we fly in.

The ingredient list might not be in English. Will we have problems with customs? Is there a limit of how much food products we can bring, e.g. pastas, japanese noodles, sauces, etc.

Hi gchew,

Why would you bother carrying, when most of what you might want would very well be available here already ?

Carrying foodstuff beyond a minimal quantity is always an issue with any airline / customs.
