moving to sydney

hi folks,

i have got my Australian PR and plan to move to Sydney.
i was born and raised in India , completed my marine engineering and naval architecture in India , went on to do a course in yacht design in Turin .I have worked in various dry docks around the world and have been closely associated with the maritime sector for the last 10 years now. i have sailed as a chief engineer on board ocean going oil tankers, taught in maritime colleges and have been involved in various projects focusing on need of the hour sustainable designs in maritime sector..
i applied for my Australian PR last year under the 189 (skilled independent) category and was approved for the same.
i am now seriously thinking about moving to Sydney.
I was hoping to find other expats in this forum who could share their views about migrating to Australia, any hiccups faced while doing so etc etc.
i would really appreciate your inputs .
