The Balance of Nature...

Post new topic

All I know about riyadh is one of the hottest place on earth!!! and now that I have experienced the cold season, I can say the this place is one of the coldest on earth!!! I thought the climate is just about hot and cold. Well, it is not a thought but also a fact that it rains... for some it is good, for me, it is a bad timing, because it only amplifies the cold weather... Well, I can't say also that it is totally bad, because it is beneficial to those plants and to wash out the dusts... it is really the balance of nature... At least I have experienced it in a different place... weird?

Try Lapland for cold, they think it is mild when it is -15

yeah, thanx guys! I know that we have a lot of opinions about nature... at least we know how it does and how it affects our daily routines... Hope I could visit other places after my contract here...:-)

During the 80s in Riyadh, I remember going to school during the winter and the weather was pretty much consistent through out nov-jan, i.e cold and most of the time cloudy. Later it became warmer during the winter and some winters had gone by with no cold wave at all.

Some Geologists say that during the ice age, some 20k years ago, arabia was covered with green lands and rivers, and I guess it will happen again in theory.

Some say that we are heading towards another ice age (that explains abrupt changes in weather world wide), north pole ice melting and will travel towards south pole, causing heavy snow in US and there is snow in some parts of arabia.

It may be off topic, but I like to mention something here, as it is said by our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in
Saheeh Muslim, some 1400 years ago.

"The last Hour will not take place … until the lands of the Arabs are once again pasture lands and (filled with) rivers"

@oraclefusion, Thak you for letting us know about it. As we can observe, we have our own way of explaining things and also belief that we hold on to, we dont have any idea what will happen in the future. We have different opinions and different perspective in life, but in the end, our belief will lead us to a peaceful mind where answers are at hand. There are scientific theory and also theological theory, it has been inculcated in our minds since we learned how to speak and understand and become curious of what is happening in our environment. All questions has answers, but some takes time to figure it out... every answer, there is a why... just be prepared of what wll come next...

I appreciate all the feedback on this topic, and if there's more, please don't hesitate to share, because I believe in sharing there is learning...
