Hi Guy's
Just to let you know, I am starting a second hand bookshop, most used books will be under 5lyd, with a 50% credit against your next purchase if your return them.
New Books will also be available if I have room left in the shipping box.
I also ship in British Magazines, on a yearly subscription basis.
Deliveries every 5 to 6 weeks.
I can be found on Facebook as Tripolibookshop Regatta.
Keep checking, as the website will also be up and running in a few days, all books will be listed and you can order online for delivery/collection.
If you have any books you could donate, or sell cheaply, they would be much appreciated.

You're probably going to be told to move this thread to Classifieds, but no one looks in there ;)
Good luck with your much needed enterprise.

Thanks Mudman, to the Admin, it's not really a classified, as I don't make any money out of this, it's just a way of keeping busy. :-)

Mudman

It's a community service :)

Great idea! Good luck!
Are you planning to have English only books or other languages too?

Vilanelle, at the moment I only have English books, should other languages be donated, I'll list those as well.

Is that a commercial offer ?

Our policy is clear : as long as you sell something, this is not allowed here (you don't make money -for free- from our website)

officeboy

Julien, I dont make money from this, it's a way of getting books off peoples shelves and moving around the expat community, It's pretty difficult getting decent books in town.

^If so then just call it book club or reading community or something that doesn't use words like subscription, purchase, shop...etc And instead of a 'price' call it 'donation'.

office boy i will be looking to you to dump some books...thanks!  as another alternative to those of you americans who have a working library card you may want to check out your local library's web site. lots of books can be downloaded as both mp3 or wma or as pdf or epub on the adobe digital reader. it's better than a kindle cause it's free!  after you've checked out your book (depends on you, but usually 7 to 14 days but on some up to 21 days) it automatically deletes itself so you don't have to worry about overdue books!! if you want to save it for later, i usually copy into another file and then delete it when i'm finished.
