Hope you are doing great now a days.. kindly let me know the is there any change in NOC rules? Can i change the company in any part of oman?

There is no change to the NOC rule or any new updates on the revised labour laws, as of today.

The last official announcement said that by November 20, 2016, the Ministry of Manpower and the other concerned government departments, like the Royal Oman Police (ROP) would be releasing the latest on these subjects. But nothing happened.

Subsequently, there were some newspaper reports saying that by the 2nd or the 3rd week of January 2017, there would be some announcements made.

So those who are interested in knowing about the revisions to the labour laws and about the NOC, would have to just wait and watch.

If you have an NOC, then yes, you can change your company anywhere across the country.
