Hi Lany,
Brazil is a beautiful place and there is a lot of good places to go to. If you like beaches, the north-east part of the country like Recife, Fernando de Noronha, Fortaleza and Salvador have good warm-water beaches.
Definitely if you are going to Brazil, you could never past on the chance of going to Rio De Janeiro with their world famous beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema and Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) which is one of the seven wonders of the modern world.
If you are looking for adventure the Amazon will be a nice one, there were some tours available in Manaus that will give you the Amazon experience.
The city of Sao Paulo is like the Makati of Brazil, so expect it to be diverse in terms of culture and ethnicity. Here you will experience the Brazilian city life.
One of the best places I'd been was Foz do Iguacu. It is on the running to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world. But the best thing here is you could go to three different countries in one day. Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Being in the border of Brazil and Argentina is quite a funny experience for me since we dont have these kinds of border in Philippines. Literally being in two countries at the same time. They painted the bridge with the countries flag color so could take pictures in there. =D

Brazilian Pride

Hi there. It always good hear that new visitors are planning to check my country out.

My name is Gil Correa, I m Brazilian citizen, native from Sao Paulo, this city which Im crazy about it.

I have been travelled a lot abroad as an International Executive and I know what is the feeling of visiting some place for the first time. You want to be at the right place with the right people and take the best of this opportunity.

So, I started giving some tips to some of my foreign friends and to their friends and this never stopped. and you know what, its being so rewarding to me be, assisting people I dont know and making good friends which always come back to my country.

So, if you are looking for a city with thousand of restaurants and bars, music concerts, the best Hotel structure of the country, Sao Paulo city is the right place to start you journey.

In this case, feel free to ask me whatever you want before coming down to Brazil. I will be glad to give you some nice tips of places to visit in the town.

take care and welcome to Brazil.
