You can easily find a laptop online for $250. Now, if you import it using a shipping service, assuming it is 6-7lbs [usual weight for a laptop box], the shipping cost will easily exceed $150.

I think hamudi meant it will be pricey to ship a laptop when he mentioned it will cost an arm and leg.

"an arm and a leg" is an idiom meaning extra expensive.
