Hi, Just moved to Connecticut.  Originally from UK/Europe.  Currently not working but happy to help non-English-speaking expats or those struggling with American English adapt to their new world.  Would also enjoy meeting up with other expats for a cup of tea and a chinwag!

Hello!

My name is Mélia, I'm 31, French, and I moved to Greensboro (NC) 6 months ago, following my husband who got a 2 years expat position here. Before that, I lived 6 months in Denmark, 6 months in Norway and 5 years in Sweden :)

Hey Expats,

Thanks for having me, I open to help or answer questions about moving to Honolulu for people from all around the world. I speak French, english and mandarin.

I am a big traveler myself and fond of cultures, sharing experiences, personal growth, going after the lifestyle that you dream of. I grew up in Paris, studied in the US, lived in Asia and north America during my 20s. I am a foodie, love every and any good eatery!

xxxx I would love to meet for coffee if you are in town and we can get to know each other :) I wish I had someone who could have guided me back when I moved here.

Warm regards,
Simone
