Getting UK Visitor's Visa from Jeddah

Post new topic

erumexplores

Hi everyone,

I have recently been accepted to participate in a 2 weeks summer seminar in UK from Jeddah. This will be my first ever visit to UK, so I would like to know exactly what supporting documents should I present with my application being a single female expat travelling alone to avoid any refusal? I work for a reputed college, but I am under my father's sponsorship.

Also, what should be the minimum bank balance that I should show for a 2 weeks trip?

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

Hello Erum,

There is always a first time for every thing.

If you have more participants from your college attending seminar, you must all present same invitation letter and college reference. You have a higher chance to be given a visit visa while applying as a group.

Since you are under your father's sponsorship, you need to show healthy bank statements of his account.

A Pakistani female , between 20 and 27 years of age is a high risk to be awarded simple visit visa  since a large number of them end up getting married to a cousin living in the UK and European legal system makes it practically impossible for her to be easily deported. This information is for your knowledge and is not meant to scare you. :)

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. BTW I don't have any relatives in UK, but I don't know how can I assure the visa officer that. Also, I will be travelling alone that's why I need to know how can I support my application with documents.

If you are attending seminar on behalf of your college you will get visa easily.

otherwise you will need all supporting documents to assure them that you are well settled here in Riyadh.
Strong Bank statement
Letter from your college.
Letter from Seminar organizer
Hotel booking where you will stay for two weeks.

Hello rocker,

You are missing two basic points.

a) Online information has so much of it that one is lost to figure our what is important and what is not.

b) Blog info would enable you to find what other visa applicants are facing. A high commission will never revel  this data.  :top:
