Transfering money to South Africa without bank account

Good day all. I am a South African and I have been in KSA for two weeks, working in Riyadh.
I need to send money home in February, but don't have my iqama yet and therefore don't have a bank account yet either.
Does anyone know of a way I can do this?
Would appreciate all suggestions, thanks in advance.

Tough luck without iqama. Most banks or western union would require your ID. The solution is to use a friends ID and send from him if its urgent. If not wait until you get the iqama.

Hi

My husbband is in Riyadh and I am still in Cape Town. He is also trying to send money to me and does not have an Iqama yet. I have been advised that a money transfer via Bidvest is the easiest.

Have you managed to send money yet ? If so, can you advise ?
