When you get to the end of the contract - you have two options - either to renew or not renew.

If your iqama is valid when your contract ends and you are renewing the contract - no action. But if you are not renewing the contract, inform employer and start the exit process where in iqama will be cancelled even if it has validity.

Same case with bank account.

A notice period (60 days or whatever is written in the contract) is involved. So, let them know ahead of time.

Hi thanks for the feedback.

If your last money needs to be paid into your bank account so you need to wait for your money and only then close your bank account.

Does the Employer need to cancel your Iqama or do you need to do it if I need to do it how do you do it, Ihear they will just take your Iqama with your last exit at the Airport

HRGuru

Usually the employer gives the end of service settlement to the bank account and you might need to keep this alive.

As for Iqama cancellation, this can be done before going to the airport.

Your employers will take care of the Iqama cancellation. You'll give them the card.
